Played a key role in establishing and co-managing the creative department of the west coast offices of Jordan, McGrath Case & Taylor advertising agency.
Client responsibilities involved overseeing all advertising creative development, TV, Radio and Print, for Nestlé confections brands including Nestlé Crunch, Butterfinger, Baby Ruth, Raisinets, 100 Grand Bar, as well as all line extensions and frozen novelty extensions.
Assisted Nestlé innovation group in the creation, branding, and launch of line extensions including Butterfinger BB’s and Nestlé Buncha Crunch, Butterfinger Ice Cream Bars, Nestlé promotional chocolate bars.
Worked closely with Matt Groening, Simpson’s cast members, and Simpson’s production company in the creation of Butterfinger campaign commercials.
Initially interviewed as an Art Director but was offered a position as either Art Director or Copywriter based on the equal strength of both skills as evident in my portfolio. Took the latter position but continued leveraging my Art Direction capabilities throughout my career.
